Manchester's Metrolink tram system connects all major railway stations and tourist attractions. The trams run every five minutes, and it is an easy and fast way to move around Manchester city centre and the surroundings. Remember that you need to purchase your ticket from the machine at the platform before you board.

Manchester by bus and coach
Piccadilly Bus Station offers a regular bus service for local destinations. Chorlton Street Coach Station offers cheap coach transport to and from all major UK cities. National Express is the main coach company, providing online timetables and tickets.
Manchester also offers a free bus service within the city called the Metroshuttle. The service links all the city centre railway stations, main car parks and many bus and Metrolink tram stops.
Manchester by train
Manchester Academy of English is within walking distance of Manchester's two city centre railway stations. Fast and frequent trains to many destinations including London and other UK cities serve both of these stations. You can purchase tickets online using National Rail or The Timeline.
Manchester by air
Manchester Airport is one of the biggest airports in the UK and has direct flights to many of the world's major destinations.
