National Football Museum
The National Football Museum recently moved to Manchester and is situated in the city centre since April 2012. The museum was founded to explain how and why football has become the world’s most popular sport and a key part of England’s culture. Here you will also find the world’s largest football collection - over 140,000 items - including the FIFA Collection. The museum is open Monday – Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 11am-5pm. Entry is free but special exhibitions often require a ticket.
