I gained my CELTA at ELC York, and taught in Slovenia, Italy and Japan before returning to York in 2005 to gain my DELTA, becoming Director of the Junior Programme in 2008. I have worked as a Teacher Trainer (in Thailand and here) and as an administrator, organising courses in the UK and Italy. I speak French, German and Italian.
Sally Astbury, Student Support Manager
I look after accommodation for our students (mainly homestays) and I am also responsible for student welfare. I am happy to help with any problems that our students may have and I always do this in a friendly and professional manner. In 2007 I was awarded the Welfare Officers' Certificate, accredited by English UK.

Graham Appleton, CELTA trainer

I have many years of teaching experience, including 3 years in Turkey and Sicily. I also have a PhD in Archaeology and a vast knowledge of York's history. All of this experience, combined with my cartoon skills, means that our trainees have training they will never forget!
