What's the difference between TOEFL and TOEIC?
TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is a test that measures your ability to communicate in English as a non-native speaker in academic settings, particularly universities and colleges. It is one of the most widely respected English-language tests across the world and is accepted by more than 9,000 universities, colleges and organisations in over 130 countries.
The TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) test is used by nearly 14,000 companies, government agencies and educational programmes in 150 countries across the world for the purposes of recruitment, staff promotion and preparing students for the international workplace.
You can take the General English Plus One-to-One TOEFL or TOEIC Preparation course at our schools in London, Manchester, York and Edinburgh. Our courses include 20 lessons of General English per week (50 minutes per lesson), 2 private lessons per week (60 minutes each).
