At Superior English Experience we make safety and security our priority. Qualified instructors are participating with the children in all events from day one to the final day of graduation. Constant 24 hour a day / 7 days a week supervision.
Groups are divided by ages, 8 – 10 one supervisor per 5 children; 11 to 14 one supervisor per 8 children; and 15 to 18 one supervisor per 8 children. Supervisors and children participate in all the activities together. Overnights are divided by gender.
Staff are qualified with first aid certificates and water safety certificates. Programs are lead by community professionals within their fields. Water activities require the use of life jackets, and the presence of a lifeguard. Hats and sunscreen are required for all day activities. We want the children to have fun, but we really want them to have fun and be safe.
Rules and regulations are strictly enforced for all participants and staff. There is a zero tolerance policy for not following the agreed upon rules. Drugs, alcohol and cigarettes are strictly prohibited for all. Immediate dismissal of staff or student will incur should anyone wish to not follow the rules and regulations in place. Non participants are not welcome to join the program at anytime without prior consent from the directors. We wish to make this the most secure environment and have as much control of the people surrounding our students.
The children will be separated according to age and gender. Supervision is maintained 24 hours a day by certified staff who will reside in the residences, the campgrounds and Fort William Historical Park, with the student.
Superior English Experience employs a full-time chef and culinary team who prepare healthy and nutritious meals. Two buffet style or sit down served meals are provided daily in a clean and comfortable dining hall. For overnight campers, three meals and snacks will be served daily. Canadian style summer picnics and barbecues will enrich the experience. Meals at the campgrounds will be prepared with the cooperation of certified staff with assistance from the students.
