We know that if you want to study English well, the journey of learning is as important as the final result. That’s why our teams are always creating innovative, interesting and challenging ways to help you remember what you’ve learnt.
Not only do we incorporate innovative activities into the classroom (such as blog writing), we have also created courses based on this principle:
- A summer programme for 9-17 year olds where you can study English and play football at the same time, through a fully immersive programme that takes place at Manchester City Football Club’s brand new training facility.
- As part of the programme you can practise press conference skills in the media centre, learn about nutrition in the Academy kitchens, develop strength and conditioning skills in the gym, and much more. Click here to find out more.
- The Edinburgh Festival season is the third most popular event behind the World Cup and the Olympics. Combining drama, art, comedy, music and dance, it is the largest arts festival in the world, with over 3000 shows and an international audience of over 4.5 million.
- Our Festival Course gives drama enthusiasts the chance to immerse themselves in the festival experience. Throughout the course you will see six different shows, study English language that is specific to theatre and the arts (such as script-writing), meet festival performers through guest workshops, and you can even try performing in Edinburgh Language Centre’s very own festival show!
As accredited members of the British Council for the Teaching of English, our four schools deliver high academic quality and support, holding industry-leading accreditations including ISI and Education Scotland. We are also proud to be the only EAQUALS-accredited schools in Manchester, York and Scotland. Click here for a full list of our memberships and accreditations.
